Heating Instructions/Ingredients

Everything you need to know about eating with us!

Here you will find all the answers to heating and eating instructions for our single serve meals, family batch cooking, as well as ingredient used in each.

*Please be aware, due to the fact we work out of a commercial shared kitchen we do our absolute best to adhere to all dietary requirements however cannot be deemed free of any allergen due to other businesses using the space when we are not occupying it, if you have any concerns surrounding this please email our chefs directly*

Our meals are microwave and oven friendly and designed to hold up well in all types of heating methods.

If you prefer, you can heat the main protein and keep the rest of the meal cold (its completely up to you!) however if you have been instructed to Microwave your meal from one of the below menu items, do as follows

  1. Pop that lid (take out your lemon and sauce if any) add a dash of water and return the lid mostly on.
  2. Heat for 3-4 minutes
  3. Consume immediately!

DID YOU KNOW? 

Our containers are oven safe! That’s right, simply remove all elements not made for heating (lemon, cold sauces etc.) and place the whole container with the lid on into a moderate oven. These are safe to leave in the oven for 15-20mins. Perfect and mess free alternative to using the microwave!

1. Remove lime and cucumber from container and heat me following the microwave/oven heating instructions OR

2. In a medium saucepan place the Butter Chicken OR Tempeh, add a dash of water. Heat on medium to low until simmering. Stir occasionally until hot

3. Meanwhile in a medium to large frying pan, place the broccoli and brown rice. Heat, tossing until hot then add in the spinach and herbs. toss until just wilted.

4. Serve the ‘Butter’ Chicken OR Tempeh with the brown rice and tossed greens. Top with fresh cucumber and a squeeze of lime

Ingredients: nuttalex, onions garlic, ginger, herbs, spices, chilli, tomatoes, tomatoes, coconut cream, panela, salt, pepper, lime, olive oil, vegetable oil

1. Heat me following the microwave/oven heating instructions OR

2. Preheat oven to 180degrees. On a lined baking tray place the Chicken OR Eggplants. Bake for 5-8 minutes or until hot.

3. Meanwhile preheat a medium to large frying pan. Place in the brown rice, peas, coriander, kale and pickled chillies. Toss this until hot.

4. Serve the Jamaican Jerk Chicken OR Eggplants with the brown rice and tossed greens.

Ingredients: Herbs, spices, chilli, garlic, thyme, ginger, lime juice, gluten free soy sauce, maple syrup, panela, spring onions, worcestershire sauce, orange juice, malt vinegar, tomato paste, green chillies, white vinegar, panela, salt, olive oil, vegetable oil

1. Heat me following the microwave/oven heating instructions OR

2. Preheat oven to 180degrees. On a lined baking tray place the Cauliflower – if having the vegan option, and Sweet potatoes. Bake for 5-8minutes.

3.Meanwhile, preheat a medium to large frying pan. Place in the Beef – if having the meat option – capsicums, kale seeds and coriander. Toss this until wilted.

4. Serve the Beef Or Cauliflower with roasted sweet potatoes and vegetables.

2. Preheat oven to 180degrees. On a lined baking tray place the Beef OR Cauliflower, and sweet potatoes. Bake for 5-8 Minutes or until hot.

3. Meanwhile, preheat a medium frying pan. Place in the broccoli, toss until hot then add in the spinach, almonds, parsley and currants. Toss until just wilted.

4. Serve the Beef Or Cauliflower with the sweet potatoes, and tossed greens.

2. Preheat oven to 180degrees. On a lined baking tray place the Chicken OR Eggplants. Bake for 5-8minutes.

3. Meanwhile, in a medium frying pan, place the broccoli, toss until hot then add in the millet, kale, mint, toasted seeds. Toss this until hot

4. Serve the Chicken Or Eggplants with millet, tossed greens and herbs. Top with the Babaganoush
